Offering everything from fast, self-sealing oral surgery to stonger, longer lasting fillings, the dental laser is now utilized on an almost daily basis. Its many uses include:

• gum (periodontal) therapy. The CO2 laser safely and quickly kills harmful bacteria in periodontal pockets. We can therefore treat mild periodontal disease with very little more than a routine cleaning. . . . and more serious periodontal conditions with very little more than scaling and root planing.
• oral surgery. Gum surgery and excisions that previously required referral to an oral surgeon can now be safely and quickly performed right in our office.
• fillings and crowns. Inflamed or over-grown gum tissue that can often delay or postpone restorative procedures (such as fillings, crowns and bridges) can quickly be treated in the same appointment, dramatically improving quality and speeding up appointment length.
